I was going through the gallery and got to seeing some picture of Samus in her older versions (Metroid, SM, etc.) and found something a little weird.... if you think about it, when the world thought she was a guy, she was wearing a small two piece. So she had more respect in the fandom yet little cover. Then she got a suit more of a turtle neck tank top and shorts and finally the Zero Suit. So as she got more cover on her self, she's gotten more sexualized. Isn't that ironic? In a simple almost bikini-like out she had more respect yet in a full body suit... well we've all seen the pictures. Isn't it strange? I may be wrong since I only joined the fandom about 2 years ago and the most recent game at the time was OM so I don't have the knowledge of the veterans but it's just something I noticed. Do you think it's strange too??

I didn't know Samus was a female or male alot of my family thought she was a robot lol, Untill the day, my bro beat Metroid Prime (I think), and she took off her helm, I was amazed at the detail they put into her. Its so sad they never did it again, that was the first time I truly saw samus, and thats how I will always think of her, as a truely awesome powerful, and deadly (and through time learned) strong in many ways.

Its so hard to put onself in samus's place, with all the pain she has been through, the lone life she chose, and the dangers she faces each day, one must be quite strong inside and out to handle what she does.

Well thats my thought anyways. I never like to think of women as just toys or objects, especialy female heroines (and especialy samus, she is almost the only female hero, who actouly takes armor into battle). Instead of taking the dam saying path of, "skin is stronger then armor".

Again these are just my thoughts lol.
